Hi Friends!

I'm Lauren and I am a portrait photographer currently located in Covington, LA.  I began my journey in photography when my first daughter was just six months old.  I remember feeling those new mother feelings. You know the ones - the ones where you look at your baby and you miss them. You already miss their wrinkly little feet and fingers. You miss those big curious eyes that look up at you with such adoration. You miss their little arm and leg rolls and counting how many they have (and the higher the number the more proud you feel. I wish adulthood was the same!) You miss their laugh. Their newborn mews. You miss all these things while you are still living in the moment. Why? Because time is fleeting. It passes by in the blink of an eye. Tomorrow their legs and arms will thin out. Tomorrow their laugh will change.  Tomorrow their cries strengthen. Tomorrow their interest isn't in you, but in the rest of the world around them. Whatever world is within pudgy-finger grasp. 

I want to capture these memories. Your memories. The magic and fairytale that is everything baby and childhood. The love of motherhood. The devotion of parenthood. This is your legacy. The art of your memories that will be passed down for generations to come. This is your story....your family....your love....
