There is something wonderfully unfair about childhood: while you're busy living it, it's already changing.
Fairy Dust Photography began when I became a mother myself and realized how quickly one version of a child gives way to the next. The baby rolls disappear. The little hand that once fit entirely inside yours gets bigger. Their expressions change, their personalities unfold, and somehow you find yourself missing stages you didn't even realize had ended.
That is why I photograph the way I do.
Not simply to document what your family looked like, but to create something that brings you back to what this chapter felt like.

Forever drawn to a good story
Thrillers, psychological suspense, true crime and anything a little spooky. Once my sweet real-life world is tucked in for the night, apparently, I prefer my stories considerably darker.
Mama first
Motherhood is what led me to photography in the first place, and it still shapes the way I see childhood through my camera.
Detail obsessed
Tiny fingers, wispy curls, belly laughs, the way your child reaches for you. Those are usually the things I notice first.
My studio philosophy
Kids don't need to perform for me. Some are wild, some are shy, some need ten minutes to decide whether I'm suspicious. We work with who they are!
