Maternity sessions are designed to celebrate this chapter beautifully and authentically, whether you envision soft and timeless studio portraits or the warmth of an outdoor sunset. From wardrobe and styling to posing and direction, I’ll guide you through every step so you can simply enjoy the experience.

WHEN TO BOOK

Maternity portraits are typically photographed between 28-34 weeks, when your belly is beautifully defined and while you’re still comfortable enough to enjoy your session.

WHAT TO WEAR

Signature sessions include access to the Fairy Dust maternity wardrobe, with beautiful gowns and pieces selected specifically for portraiture.

WHO CAN JOIN

With a Signature session, partners and children are welcome, allowing us to capture both motherhood and this chapter of your growing family.

MATERNITY FAQ

  • I recommend reserving your session during your second trimester whenever possible. Portraits are typically photographed between 28-34 weeks, and booking early gives us plenty of time to plan your session and wardrobe.

  • Absolutely! Partners and children are welcome with Signature Maternity Sessions. Petite Sessions are designed specifically for Mom.

  • Sessions may take place in the Fairy Dust studio in Mandeville or outdoors at a beautiful local location. We will choose the setting that best fits the look and feel you’re envisioning.

  • Yes! Professional prints and finished artwork are available, including framed wall portraits, canvas, metal and other Fine Art options. Signature Maternity clients also receive 20% off Fine Art Wall Portraits.
